# How do I import a new section? (legacy)

To import a section, click the three-dot menu in the left-hand menu list of the project you want to add it to. Next, click **import**.

From the popup you can then click to find a file, or drag a file in.  Then click **import**.

Your imported section will be added at the end of your manuscript list, taking the filename as a section title. You can click and drag the section somewhere else in the list if needed. You can also nest it beneath other section if your project has nested chapters/scenes.
