Articles on: Co-ownership

What is co-ownership?

We’re becoming the home for your creative writing from the first word to the millionth reader. We want you, our writers, to be at the heart of it.

To facilitate that and ensure we’re staying true to Novlr’s mission – empowering writers to succeed

we’re changing our business structure to be majoritively writer-owned. We’ll be the first writing platform to be co-owned by the writers who use it.

There is a lot more information about that process and the opportunity to sign up to updates on The Future of Novlr page.

You will see no changes in the day-to-day functioning of Novlr, but it will mean two main things:

Co-owners will elect representatives to the Novlr Board and input into business decisions directly.
The majority of our future profits will be redistributed to the writers.

As the legal structures are finalised, we’ll share more information about how governance and financial distribution will work. If you’d like to learn more or sign up for notifications about our co-ownership journey, visit The Future of Novlr to see what the future holds.
