What is the November Challenge?

November has always been a big month for creative writers. NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) popularised the task of writing 50,000 words (the average length of the first draft of a novel) in the month of November, and writers the world over continue to band together to collectively work toward their goals in that month.

While not everyone participates in NaNoWriMo officially, we've created a November Challenge goal that will allow you participate in the shared writing endeavour. It's a word count based goal, so is all about ending the challenge at a word count of your choice. You can set your starting word count for the month (or leave it blank) and work toward 50,000 words or create your own target you want to reach by the end of the month that fits your capabilities. We've even got a dedicated channel in our Discord Community where you can join us as we all work on our projects that will include writing sprints, community resources, and a goal spreadsheet for shared accountability.

No matter your goal, we'd love to have you join us!
