Novlr has an advanced dashboard of data for you to analyse your writing progress and productivity. The two main ways to quantify progress are with Words Written and Word Count. In your dashboard, you can select whether to show these stats for a particular novel or across all novels. 
Novlr allows you to see how many words you’ve written in a day, in a month, and in your entire project. You can access this information in four different places. On your writing page The first place to look is in the top left-hand corner of your writing page while writing. You will see a set of numbers. By clicking on these numbers you can see how many words you’ve written in that section, in your whole project, and how many words you’ve written that day.

Word count is the number of words currently in your manuscript. Words written is the number of words you have written in Novlr on any given day. Word counts do not include notes or deleted words. They do include imported and pasted words, as these increase the total of your project's word count, no matter their source. Words written does not include anything pasted or imported into Novlr. The Novlr analytics dashboard shows two main groups of data: Words Written, and Word Count over time. Here, we outline the difference between these metrics and how they are calculated. Words Written | Words Written is the sum of all words added (regardless of how many might have been deleted) in a selected time period. This includes all words written in Novlr, including notes. ||| Words written does not include words that have been imported or pasted from outside Novlr.
