I've accidentally deleted my words! How do I get them back? (byron)

Writing is a delicate process, and it can be devastating to lose your words. Whether it’s through accidental deletion, regretting a purposeful deletion, or an unexpected device error, losing your words is still a terrifying prospect.

But there’s no need to worry! Novlr automatically saves versions of your chapters and uploads them to our servers.

These saves are also shown as versions that you can access, view, and load from your version history at any time

To access your versions, open the right-hand sidebar with your section open. Then, navigate to the *Versions* tab, where you will see all currently active and previously created versions for that section.

If your deletion has only just happened, you can also use keyboard shortcuts to restore your deleted words. To undo the last action, simply use Ctrl+Z to undo the last change you made (depending on your device, you may be able to do this a few times to go back a few steps).

For an extra layer of backup, Novlr Pro subscribers also have the option to sync Novlr with Dropbox and/or Google Drive.
